Description

We have been asked to appoint two new permanent (staff) Coring Engineers for a brand new opportunity to be based around the UK (on a rotational basis).

Duties will include:

Working across all aspects of a coring program.
Running small specialist teams on high profile jobs in the North Sea and overseas
Coring different types of formations from hard consolidated reservoirs to very soft non cemented sands on everything from large multi derrick rigs to small land rigs.
Coring expertise across all lithologies including sandstones, sands, chalk, fractured carbonates, salt, coal and volcanic.
Working on downhole tools.
Making up core barrels on the drill floor.
Working alongside the driller, deck crew and company man for up to date information on well conditions
Filling out job service tickets and word reports.
Working out bottom hole assembly's to meet the criteria for the well.

In return for your skills and expertise you'll be eligible for a significant basic salary and industry leading rotational day rate.
