SPENCER OGDEN are currently recruiting for a NIGHT DRILLING SUPERVISOR to join a Leading Operator with an excellent career development plan to take you to a Day Drilling Supervisor position. This Operator has shown ambitious growth and development plans over the past 12 months as this is certainly an exciting time to be joining them.

Key Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of offshore drilling operations undertaken
Ensures the safe and successful execution of drilling programmes
Responsible for the accuracy of information in the daily drilling reports and in other communications with the onshore Wells team
Reviews the Drilling Programme in detail and advises the Drilling Superintendent of deficiencies and of potential improvements
Supervises and supports well control planning and procedures in conjunction with the rig team
Train junior well engineering personnel on the rig

Required Qualifications

Fully certified by a recognised Well Control Authority for well servicing activities e.g. IWCF, WELLCAP to Subsea Supervisor level
Offshore Survival Training Certificate, UK Medical and MIST
Several years practical experience as a Drilling Engineer in well planning operations and as a Rig Site Drilling Engineer
Experience likely to have been gained with a drilling contractor, developing experience and progressing career from Roustabout to Toolpusher in line with drilling industry career development expectationsFor more information about this specific role please contact our Glasgow Office
